Sunday evening

A calm image of water for a calm sunday evening...enjoy!

  1. Your blog has a very calming, contemplative kind of atmosphere these days. I'm digging it. And it's nice to see some Holga work from you too, as I'm so used to you being what I would consider something of a control freak when it comes to shooting and printing your images.

On a random note and just something for you to chew on, there's a photographer out here who shoots a lot of Polaroids and I just saw some fashion work of his where he scanned and blew the images up to ridiculous sizes. They became all chunky and gritty and soft and textured like you would imagine, and I liked the effect way more than I thought I would. I've always kept my Polaroids, well, Polaroid-sized. I'm starting to rethink that now. You've got all these little guys posted and it just got me thinking.

  2. Morning, Adam. I just dropped by to thank you for providing the "Paper Bags" photo for today's (April 8) Every Photo Tells A Story. I supplied what I think is an appropriate little poem to accompany it. If you get a chance, stop by my blog for a few smiles. Coffee's on.

  3. Aaron, thank you for your insights...and im glad that the calm mood was picked up by you...defiantly what I have been trying to use photography for right now...and as for the holgas...well it was the only way i was gonna get myself back into black and white again...feels good to be loose

James, thanks for your input, I will stop on by later today!
