It's been awhile...I was scanning recently and looking through old negatives and found this one from my Maine trip. Delicious home made apple pies are in the work here. I really began to appreciate food in Maine, simple and honest. yes.

Another Mainer

Yet another image from the northland, greenville, me. I have enjoyed revisiting these images and getting my own sense of the place from my own images. A weird thing. I know what the place feels like, I experienced it. But looking back at images stirs different feelings about the place. All good...
Here's a picture of a lone fisherman on a very rainy day. He's a friend of mine, but you wouldn't know that...But now you do. Please Enjoy.

Monday, Monday
This was a beautiful morning in Maine, about 6:00 am or so, just before I was to go inside and set up for breakfast. It was one of the slowest sunrises I ever saw, and beautiful the whole time. I'm posting it now because, it was a beautiful Monday today, and a great start to the week. Just as this was a great way to begin this morning.I'll also be getting into the darkroom and developing some new images as well as printing. Keep an eye peeled for new work of the black and white variety, and maybe some color too...

Opening day!
Nancy, from "every photo tells a story" contacted me a few days ago and asked if she could use this image on her own blog. The concept is, she gathers images and lets folks write their own words or interpretations of the image in the comments section. Good idea. So head on over and contribute to this image's story, and check out some of the other work she's got up there. Thanks Nancy!
